DESCRIPTION
With increasing regulatory scrutiny on ESG practices, the focus on sustainability in financial services has never been higher. The FSMA is closely monitoring financial institutions regarding the implementation of requirements to consider clients' sustainability preferences, while ESMA provides further guidance on greenwashing and fund naming standards.
This Compliance Lunch Debate, titled "Investment & Sustainability: From Managing Green Products to Preventing Greenwashing", will address key issues by first exploring the upcoming challenges related to the evolving regulatory landscape, including MiFID/IDD, EU Taxonomy, and SFDR. We will also explore how to effectively meet clients' sustainability preferences, the challenges of data collection, and best practices for preventing greenwashing and ensuring proper fund naming. During the debate, the FSMA will also share its key points of attention and priorities in this evolving regulatory context.
Join us on Thursday, November 7 in Brussels or online to gain practical insights from expert speakers and navigate these regulatory challenges alongside peers.
Each Compliance lunch debate is worth 1.5 points for the continuing education of Compliance officers.
