Jean-Marc focuses primarily on financial law (banks, insurance, financial institutions), company law and ESG. Jean-Marc has been a Senior Counsel at Eubelius since January 2009. He became a member of the Brussels Bar in 1987. He holds a degree in law from University of Brussels (ULB, 1986) and in 1987 he obtained a Master's in Economic Law from the same university. Between 2000 and 2008 he interrupted his career in law to work as an adviser for the CBFA (Commission for Banking, Financial and Assurance Bodies). As of 1 January 2009, he returned to membership of the Brussels Bar. Jean-Marc is a guest lecturer at the Louvain School of Management (UCL). He is Chair of the Environment and Climate Change Committee of the CCBE. He has published several works relating to company law as well as Belgian and international financial law and in sustainable finance and CSR.
